Man Accused of Hitting, Killing Bicyclist in Grand Traverse Co. Found Not Guilty
A jury found the man accused of hitting and killing a bicyclist in Grand Traverse County last September not guilty.
The sheriff’s office says Thomas Ray was driving on Silver Pines Road when he ran over David Williamson.
Ray’s vehicle was one of two cars involved in the accident.
Deputies say the sun and weather conditions played a role in the crash.
Last week a jury found Ray not guilty of a moving violation causing death.
