Farwell Area Schools Superintendent Who Admitted to Larceny Expected in Court

The Farwell Area Schools superintendent who admitted to stealing from a youth sports team is expected to learn his punishment Monday in court.

David O’Bryant pleaded guilty to larceny by conversion between $1-20,000 last month.

Police say he stole more than $1,000 from the Rogers City Bears youth football program from 2016-17.

The court documents say he was taking in money for the program and using it as his own.

During that time he was also working as the superintendent of Rogers City Area Schools.

O’Bryant is expected to be sentenced in a Presque Isle court Monday.
