Beulah Man Accused of Punching Dog Six Times

A Beulah man is in jail after he was seen punching a dog six times.

The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office tells us it happened Saturday afternoon on Paul Place in the King’s Court mobile home park.

The Grand Traverse County Animal Control Department also responded, and the dog that was beaten and another dog were turned over. Both appeared to be underweight.

Deputies arrested the man for animal cruelty and possession of marijuana, and the sheriff’s office seized 30 grams of suspected marijuana from the man.
