Bill Schuette Proposes Three Televised Debates Against Gretchen Whitmer in Race for MI Governor

Republican Bill Schuette & Democrat Gretchen Whitmer won the primary elections in the race for Michigan governor this week.

Now the two want to debate at least three times for a televised event before the November elections.

State Attorney General Bill Schuette proposed the idea of a minimum of three.

Debate locations could be one in Detroit, one in Grand Rapids, and an additional in Flint, Lansing or Traverse City.

More details about the debates should be coming in the next month or so.
