Hook & Hunting: Bear Hunting Seminar

If you are interested in learning how to hunt bear, the DNR and Jay’s Sporting Goods have just what you’re looking for.

This weekend in Clare, Jay’s is holding a bear hunting seminar.

It includes a presentation on field judging black bear and baiting tactics. 

The DNR will also be there to answer questions.

The best part? It’s free and open to anyone interested, regardless of experience!

“That’s always a great time to be able to learn different things that you might not know. You can always learn something, you know, when someone’s been hunting as long as Richard has. I mean, there’s something that you can always pick up from him, even if it doesn’t have to do with bear hunting,” said Matt Poet, marketing director.

The seminar starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jay’s Sporting Goods in Clare.
