Nearly 100 People Dead after Powerful Quake in Indonesia

Nearly 100 people are dead after a powerful earthquake Sunday night.

The magnitude-7 quake struck the northern part of Lombok but it was also felt in Bali which is on a different island and about a 7-hour boat ride away.

People say the force of the quake was so severe, it threw them out of bed and walls immediately started cracking.

Thousands of buildings were damaged during the main quake and by several significant aftershocks.

Emergency crews say 91 people have died and that number is likely to rise.

There is no tsunami threat.
