Central Michigan University has appointed its 15th president.
Robert Davies has been named the university’s president.
Before taking the job to lead CMU, Davies was the president at Murray State University in Kentucky.
Davies is succeeding George Ross, who stepped down Tuesday after eight years at CMU.
Davies first day on as Central Michigan University’s president is Sept. 1.
