Attorney General Bill Schuette Meets With Northern Michigan Voters

Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette made a couple stops in Northern Michigan Monday.

It’s part of a last minute push to meet with voters ahead of Election Day next week.

In Cadillac, Schuette stopped by AAR Building Systems to tour the facility and meet with some employees and supporters.

He also made stops in Traverse City and Thompsonville Monday.

These are just a few of the 50 stops Schuette has made throughout a ten-day period across the state of Michigan.

During his tour Monday he pushed the importance of talking to business owners and their employees to better understand the issues he may face if elected.

“When you meet with people, when you meet with those who are working and you talk to owners of a business, how can we make the opportunity for more jobs?” explained Schuette. “I’m confident in our chances, but I take nothing for granted.”

Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley is also making a pit stop in Northern Michigan.

He’ll be in Gaylord Tuesday afternoon for a lunch meet and greet at the Sugar Bowl.

We’ll have more details on his visit both on air and online.
