Two People Killed in Benzie County Car Crash Identified
We can now tell you the names of the people killed in a Benzie County car crash.
The sheriff’s office says it happened at the intersection of Cedar Run Road and Reynolds Road before 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office says Tristan Clay didn’t stop at the intersection and hit a vehicle driven by Payton Carpenter.
Clay and Carpenter died at the scene of the crash.
The sheriff’s office says one of the cars also started on fire.
A passenger in Carpenter’s car survived and was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
