The maker of Ritz crackers has issued a voluntary recall of several of its products due to salmonella concerns.
Mondelez Global LLC says the recall affects certain Ritz Cracker Sandwiches and Ritz Bits products sold in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The company says the items contain a whey powder that has been recalled due to a possible presence of salmonella.
So far there have been no reports of illnesses in connection with the recalled Ritz products.
