An investigation is underway in Mason County after a motorcyclist died following a crash with a pickup truck.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office says it happened just after noon Sunday on Reek Road between Dewey and Sugar Grove in Sherman Township.
They say a man driving a pickup truck had slowed down for a dog running along the side of the road, when a Mason County man riding a motorcycle came up behind him and crashed into the back of the pickup.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His name is being withheld until family has been notified.
