“At approximately 9am this morning Today’s Green Shift with the help of some of Red Shift were alerted to a possible technical rescue situation near the Lucky’s Market in Garfield Township.

A damsel in distress alerted passers by that her children were playing near a storm drain and had fallen in.

After a quick size up of the scene crews relied on countless years of training, skills, experiences, one short straw and one new guy to affect a successful rescue of….. three ducklings.

They were reunited with their mother and we are happy to say recovering well in the pond near the area. Names of the victims are not being released at this time and we ask you to respect their privacy as they recover. Thank you.”
