Trucks Roll into Manton for Show

The Manton truck show is going on this weekend.

As part of this yearly event more than 60 big trucks rolled into town Friday morning.

Of course, the trucks come in all colors, shapes and sizes. But they’re not just for people to look at.

Truck-drivers compete for different awards, including paint job, custom work and lighting.

Manton was buzzing today not only from the motors of these trucks, but also with live music, food stands and the view of huge trucks lining the streets.

“It brings a lot of people in. It’s great for our business. They eat in our restaurants, they buy our goods, and it just brings livelihood to the town,” said Sue Fullerton, who organizes the event.

Organizers will award prizes on Saturday night, wrapping up this year’s Manton truck show festivities.
