Three Northern Michigan Airports Receive Grants From FAA

Three local airports, including Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, are getting money from the Federal Aviation Administration. 

The FAA is granting TVC $1.47 million to replace runway lighting.

The Chippewa County International Airport is getting $1.54 million for snow removal and runway repair.

The Regional Airport of Emmet County is getting $173,000 for apron and runway repair, among other improvements.
