Osceola Co. Deputies Request Help Identifying Owner of Bike in Connection to Bank Robbery

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a bike was recovered shortly after an armed bank robbery in Tustin, where they believe a man got away on a bicycle with cash.

Deputies say the man went into the bank June 29, showed a gun, demanded money and then took off on a bike.

It happened at the Tustin branch of the Lake-Osceola State Bank.

And according to witnesses, the robber took off north on the White Pine Trail.

The bike was recovered just north of Hemlock Street in Tustin after the robbery.

Now the sheriff’s office needs to know who the bike originally came from, and to whom it belongs.

It has 26-inch wheels, a cloth seat cover that could have been repainted a gold color.

The original color is believed to be black.

No name brand was found.

It has Shimano gears and brakes.
