MSU Interim President to Testify At Congressional Hearing

Michigan State University interim president John Engler will testify at a congressional hearing about changes at the school since the Nassar sex abuse scandal.

Nassar was a sports doctor at the school He was convicted of sexually abusing girls and women.

In the fallout MSU president Lou Ann K Simon stepped down.

John Engler took over as interim president, but he’s been criticized since taking the job, and calls have grown for him to step down after e-mails from him were found disparaging Nassar’s victims.

Engler will appear before a Senate subcommittee in two weeks.
