Mecosta County Deputies Looking for Suspect in Bank Robbery

A Mecosta County bank was robbed Thursday afternoon, and deputies are looking for the man responsible.

The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at the Isabella Bank in Big Rapids Township at 12:48 p.m.

The suspect is described to be a white male in his late twenties, 5’5,” with brown hair, a brown beard and wearing glasses.

Police say he demanded money from bank staff and then took off in a dark blue, four door sedan.

It is unknown at this time how much money he stole.
