We’re well into beach season and if you have young children you know that it can sometimes be tricky to keep little ones occupied.
So for What’s Trending Wednesday, we have a few fun ideas to make your next trip to the beach different than the last.
The sun is working in your favor for this pictures ideas.
Stand in a circle and draw silly faces in the sand in your shadows where your face would be.
This way no matter how big your group is, you’re sure to get the right picture. And have fun doing it.
Next, try building a sandman.
It’s the equivalent of a snowman and will definitely turn some heads on the beach.
You can still use sticks for the arms but try using seashells for buttons and swap out a winter scarf for a seaweed wrap.
A fun way to have some laughs and get creative.
Or build a sand volcano, a super fun activity for children.
You will need to bring a bucket, baking soda, vinegar and food co
loring to the beach with you.
Fill the bucket about half or 3/4 of the way full of sand and build a volcano shape around the bucket.
Then add the baking soda inside the bucket and pour the desired amoun
t of vinegar then watch your sand volcano boil over.
