McLaren Petoskey Breaks Ground on New Wing

McLaren Northern Michigan broke ground on a new wing to their hospital in Petoskey on Wednesday.

The new wing has 92 new, private patient rooms as well as new operating rooms. They’re also adding a cardiovascular unit.

It will be named the Offield Pavilion, after its major donor, Jim Offield.

The building will be up and running in 2021 with renovations continuing into 2022.

“It’s an opportunity for us to improve the patient experience while continuing to provide the best clinical care that we have all these years,” said Patrick Schulte, Vice President of the McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation.
