Thailand Cave: Eighth Boy Rescued As Crews Continue On-Site Operations

12 boys and their soccer coach have been trapped underground for more than two weeks after the cave they were exploring suddenly flooded.

Divers were able to bring some of the boys back to the surface Sunday after a 2.5-mile journey through dark, flooded tunnels.

They are said to be in good health.

Divers say the initial rescue took about 13 hours to complete.

The other four boys and their coach are still trapped below ground.

Divers are now preparing to go into the cave and rescue more of the children.

It’s monsoon season though and rescuers say another round of flooding could wash the boys away.

Crews are working at the site right now as the rescue operation continues.
