Future of Brexit in Jeopardy After 2 British Cabinet Members Resign

The divorce process between the United Kingdom and the European Union has taken a major hit.

Two key British cabinet members are now resigning from their roles.

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Brexit Secretary David Davis have now stepped down, splitting the British cabinet even more as they attempt to leave the E.U.

Davis quit late Sunday saying he could not support Prime Minister Theresa May’s plans to close trade and other ties with the E.U.

Davis was the chief negotiator for the country.

Boris Johnson was expected to act after Davis’ resignation as Brexit’s secretary.

E.U. official Donald Tusk says this has now caused the biggest problem in the history of the E.U. and U.K. relations, putting the future of Brexit jeopardy.
