Son of Hollywood Director Dies After Attending Electric Forest Festival in Oceana Co.
Michigan State Police say they’re awaiting autopsy results after a California man died after attending the Electric Forest Festival in Oceana County.
Troopers say Hunter Lurie suffered a medical emergency while at the festival last Friday.
He was then taken to Mercy Hospital in Muskegon where he passed away on Monday.
An autopsy was then conducted the following day in Kalamazoo.
Investigators are now waiting on the results from the autopsy to confirm a cause of death.
Lurie is the son of Hollywood film director Rod Lurie, who confirmed his son’s death on social media.
