Meet Trinity Lachance, eight, of Roscommon, the fourth winner in the Bikes for Kids program happening this summer. Although Lachance is only eight years old, she has already made positive changes in her community. She raised $600 to install a Buddy Bench at her school to stop bullying, make everyone feel included, and encourage new friendships. Lachance is also a Girl Scout and makes survivor kits for the local fire department and Roscommon police department. This inspired her grandma to nominate her in the Bikes for Kids giveaway. Lachance said helping others makes her feel “warm and tingly.” Despite the time she will now spend riding her new bike, she is already planning what project she wants to raise money for next.
