Walkerville Girls Basketball Coach Accused of Criminal Sexual Conduct Expected to be Arraigned

In continuing coverage of the girl’s basketball coach facing criminal sexual conduct charges, he is expected to be arraigned in court Thursday.

Police say he sexually assaulted two 13-year-old girls on his team.

The Oceana County Sheriff’s office says they started investigating the JV girls basketball coach at Walkerville Schools back in March.

They searched his home last week, where they say they found enough evidence on his devices to arrest him.

Walkerville schools tell us the coach is no longer working for them and is not allowed on school property.

We’re told he is currently out of jail after posting a $100,000 bond.

Again he’s expected to be charged with multiple crimes including first-degree criminal sexual conduct, which carries a penalty of up to life in prison.

He’s also facing charges of child sexually abusive activity, which refers to having inappropriate images of minors.
