Emmet Co. Man Accused of Assaulting Roommate With Hammer
A man is in jail after being accused of assaulting his roommate with a hammer.
The Emmet County sheriff says the incident happened at a home in Alanson just after 10:30 Monday night.
That’s where they arrested Galen Heffner. He has been charged with two felonies, including assault with intent to murder and assault with a dangerous weapon, as well as domestic violence.
He is currently at the Emmet County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
