Starting the New Week at the National Cherry Festival

Half a million people are expected to be in Traverse City this week celebrating the National Cherry Festival and we want you to be prepared for all the festivities!

Here’s a look at some of the events happening Monday:

9 a.m. – Cherry Pie Bike Ride

The signature Cherry Pie Bike Ride starts at 9 a.m. at F&M Park.

It will go through neighborhood streets and trails in Traverse City and end at the Open Space.

10 a.m. – Kids Club

You can head on over to Kids Club for all sorts of fun activities including; cherry yardzee, a bean bag toss, cherry jumbo jenga.

1 p.m. – Cherry Pie Eating Contest

The kid’s cherry pie eating contest will be at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon.
