Satellite Images Suggest N. Korea is Modifying Nuclear Research Facilities

New satellite images are raising doubts about North Korea’s claims of denuclearization.

The satellite images came from 38 North, a group devoted to the analysis of North Korea.

They show the north is modifying its nuclear research facility.

However, 38 North says North Korea is no longer producing plutonium, which is crucial for nuclear weapons.

But images show upgrades to a cooling system for a reactor and two new small buildings were recently built.

38 North says the upgrades could be routine.

The White House is not commenting on these new images but analysts say this puts more pressure on the Trump Administration to clarify the agreements made with Kim Jong-un at the Singapore summit.
