Man Accused of Breaking Into Isabella Co. Home, Shooting Woman Takes Plea Deal

The man accused of breaking into a woman’s house and shooting her in the stomach has taken a plea deal.

Kenneth Maddux has pleaded no contest to first-degree home invasion, armed robbery and assault less than murder.

Isabella County deputies say Maddux broke into the woman’s home last October and shot her.

It took four days for deputies to find him.

Maddux is expected to sentenced next month.
