Wrapping up the 9&10 Iceland Excursion With Icebergs, Glacial Spa,

It’s warming up in Michigan, but that doesn’t mean other parts of the world can’t enjoy some cool-weather fun.

The 9&10 Travel Club’s Iceland excursion had a few more adventures to share before wrapping up it’s week of exploration and fun.

The group made its way to the Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon for an up-close look at some icy structures.

Michelle Dunaway says they even got to take a boat ride around the icebergs, learning why some appear blue or black.

And instead of icebergs in the water—for its final stop, the travel club opted for heat and steam.

The trip ended its sightseeing on a high note at the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa for a relaxing time in warm water.

The man-made lagoon is full of silica, which is great for rejuvenating skin.

The Icelandic excursion more than 40 people have been on in the last week has drawn to a close, but one member is taking more home than just the fun memories.

Mary Gossett learned more about her heritage and met distant family members.
