BATA Launches Free Bus Line in Traverse City

Starting Monday it just got a little easier to get around Traverse City.

Bay Area Transportation Authority has officially launched the Bayline and will run every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The buses run every 15 minutes from the Meijer on US-31 to the East Bay Beach district, with many stops along the way.

But the best part is it is completely free.

It’s just more way BATA is making it easier for you to get to your favorite beach restaurant, or of course National Cherry Festival next week.
