Traverse City Statue Dressed in Purple for Alzheimer’s Awareness Month

In honor of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, the Greater Michigan chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association has turned a statue in Traverse City purple.

And that statue is the Perry Hannah Statue at Hannah Park.

Thursday is set aside nationwide to spread awareness of Alzheimer’s.

If you would like to support the organization, the walk to end Alzheimer’s in Traverse City is September 29.
