9&10 Travel Club Arrives in Iceland: Land of Fire, Ice

The experience of a lifetime has started in a big way with the exploration of an enormous church!

Michelle Dunaway and more than 40 other people started exploring Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, on Monday.

New experiences are by the dozen for these continent-hopping travelers—with one major highlight including their visit to a colossal Lutheran parish, the largest church in Iceland, called Hallgrímskirkja.

The church is named after an Icelandic poet and clergyman.

In front of the huge parish is a statue of Norse explorer Leif Erikson.

You can get a look at the view from the top of the church by watching the video above!
