Summit Between President Trump, Kim Jong-un Back On

The highly-anticipated summit between President Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong-un is back on.

President Trump made the announcement Friday, saying he and Kim will meet on June 12 in Singapore.

“We’ll be meeting on June 12th in Singapore. It’s really a get-to-know-you kind of situation,” said President Trump.

That was the day and location originally set up a few weeks ago, before President Trump cancelled the summit.

The announcement followed a face-to-face meeting with North Korean Vice Chairman Kim Yong Chol who hand delivered a letter from Kim Jong-un.
