Trump Administration to Impose Metal Tariffs on Canada, EU, Mexico

The Trump administration says they are putting new taxes on steel and aluminum imports from the European Union, Canada and Mexico.

Now, other countries are responding with their own tariffs against the U.S.

Back when President Donald Trump announced the tariffs in March it didn’t include those countries, but now the three are included on the list.

Mexico says it’s answering the tariffs on their country with new taxes on U.S. imports like pork bellies, apples, grapes, cheese and other items.

The EU is expected to retaliate with tariffs on U.S. orange juice, peanut butter and other goods.
