Gaylord Man Charged With Terrorism After Threatening Munson Medical Center

A Gaylord man is now charged with terrorism after he threatened to shoot up Munson Medical Center.

Police say Brian Adcox called Munson around 3:30 Saturday afternoon making threats to hospital staff and blaming them for things like school shootings.

The hospital then went out on lockdown.

Officers were able to trace the call to Adcox, who was living in a tent in Clare.

Adcox had recently been arrested on a warrant in Clare County, and was released on bond the day before making the treats to Munson.

When police arrested him for the threats they also found a shotgun.

He was then transported to the Grand Traverse County Jail where he was charged with terrorism.
