Pres. Trump’s Financial Disclosure Reveals Payment to Cohen, Net Worth

President Trump’s newly released financial disclosure is raising questions about the controversy over hush money paid to a porn star.

The Office of Government Ethics released a 92-page financial disclosure.

It shows President Trump paid back his former lawyer Michael Cohen between $100 and $250,000 for expenses in 2016.

The form did not say exactly what the payment was for but Cohen has acknowledged paying porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 just 11 days before the election to keep an alleged affair with Trump quiet.

The President’s newest lawyer Rudy Giuliani says the payment was made out of an abundance of caution and that the president disclosed all he could.

The Justice Department could now look into whether the payment to Daniels should have been disclosed under campaign finance laws, but there’s no indication of an active investigation into that matter.

The disclosure also shows President Trump’s current net worth at $3.1 billion.

The form also shows the President’s golf courses missed par last year earning $67 million less than before he took office.

That’s a 24 percent decrease and comes despite his frequent visits to the green.

He still earned about $215 million from his golf-related companies in 2017.

That money goes into a trust that is waiting for him when he leaves office.
