NMU Closes Three Buildings Due to Inconsistent Lead Levels in Water Tests
Precautionary measures were taken after water tests had inconsistent water levels at Northern Michigan University.
They closed down three of their campus buildings Thursday morning.
The Physical Education and Instructional Facility, Thomas Fine Arts and the Learning Resources Center will be closed until the school gets results from the tests.
Those results could come over the weekend and the school will conduct additional investigation and testing where it’s required.
The Northern Michigan school had tested water at more than 50 campus facilities.
