Ford to Start F-150 Production Again Friday

Ford is resuming production of its popular F-150 pickup truck Friday.

The automaker stopped manufacturing the truck at two plants earlier this month, including one in Michigan, after a fire broke out at a supplier’s facility.

Ford says it worked with other suppliers and contractors to get the F-150 back on the assembly line as quickly as possible.

Production will resume Friday at Ford’s Dearborn plant, while a second plant near Kansas City will begin work on Monday.
