Michael’s Place Workshop For Grieving Parents

End of life can be a difficult subject to talk about.

Especially when you’re faced with making medical decisions for a loved one or patient.

Michael’s Place in Traverse City is hosting a workshop and panel discussion tomorrow to help you work through this difficult time.

It’s called Medical Decision Making and Its Impact On Grief.

The panelists and organizers have been in the same exact position before.

They want to help others who may be feeling like they did.

“People who have had to make decisions for a loved one who has died often experience guilt and regret around what if we have made a different choice what if we did something different,” explained Program Director Melissa Fournier.

Through community and conversation in the workshop — Michael’s Place is hoping to combat those feelings.

The workshop and panel discussion are happening at 6:00 Wednesday night.
