President Trump’s Legal Team Could Face Possible Subpoena Involving Russia Investigation

President Trump’s legal team is speaking out about a possible subpoena from special counsel Robert Mueller involving the Russia investigation.

One lawyer says the president doesn’t have to cooperate with the special counsel.

In an interview Sunday, Rudy Giuliani, the newest member to join the president’s legal team, said his advice to the president is to say no to being interviewed by Mueller’s team.

He suggests the president should plead the fifth and refuse to answer any questions if he is forced to testify.

But Democrats on Capitol Hill suggest the president comply with the subpoena otherwise he’s likely to lose if the case goes to court.

President Trump said on Friday he’d speak with Mueller’s team about the Russia investigation but only if he was treated fairly.
