Frankfort’s Stormcloud Brewing Company Increases Production with New Facility

You may have noticed a new beer on store shelves recently, and that’s because of Stormcloud’s new production facility.

They recently opened a new 12,000 square foot facility in Frankfort that houses a 20 barrel brew house system and for the first time, a canning line.

Now they’re able to can their two most popular beers: Rainmaker Ale and Whiled Away IPA, and sell it in more than 200 places.

And now rather than 1,500 barrels per year, they can brew 5,000.

“We’re excited to expand our business right here in Frankfort. It’s our home and for us to build this facility it’s also creating jobs, so as a result of this investment we’ve created eight new full time year round positions and that helps everybody in the economy that we’re in,” says coowner, Rick Schmitt.

The tasting room at Stormcloud will officially open Memorial Day weekend and will be open every day this summer.
