A school district spokesman says the student was shot in the ankle and will be O.K.

The school says shooter and student are both boys.

Emergency vehicles surrounded the school after the shooting, and authorities asked residents to avoid the area.

Students were being bused to a nearby church for parents to pick them up.

It comes more than two months after the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, which left 17 people dead.
