Federal Charges Dropped Against William Minore, Accused of 3 Bank Robberies
In a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, the federal district court found no probable cause for William Minore to have committed the offenses he was charged with.
The court ordered all federal charges to be dropped.
Minore was accused of robbing one bank in Leelanau County and two banks in Benzie County between 2015 and 2016.
He continues to assert he is innocent and claims he was set up.
The Leelanau County prosecutor also dismissed all charges against Minore earlier this year.
Those charges were dismissed without prejudice, which means that they could be brought to court again.
According to jail records, he was transferred to Grand Traverse Jail after his release from federal custody.
