Mackinac Bridge Partially Closed due to Wind Gusts

The Mackinac Bridge is partially closed Sunday due to the gusty winds from the weekend storm.

The Mackinac Bridge Authority is only allowing passenger cars, passenger vans and pickup trucks without campers to cross the bridge.

They’re asking anyone crossing the bridge to drive at 20 miles per hour or less.

If conditions improve, the Bridge Authority says they’ll open the bridge back up to all vehicles.

However, some vehicles may still need to be escorted.

We’ll continue to post the latest updates on the status of the Mighty Mac.
