Cadillac Auction, Raffle to Raise Money for $35,000 Project that Honors Veterans

A big party will help build a big project, honoring veterans near and far.

Tickets are still available for the Rotary Club of Cadillac’s annual auction.

A ticket buys you a night of fun, food and entertainment at the Cherry Grove Event Center.

There’s a live and silent auction.

Guests can buy a special raffle ticket for either a seven night trip to London and Paris–with the added bonus of $500 cash, or a Vegas vacation. Both trips also include round-trip airfare for two participants.

All the money raised goes to this year’s rotary project.

It will be nearly a dozen flagpoles along the causeway on Lake Cadillac—proudly displaying American flags all day, every day.

“This one was kind of near and dear to everyone’s heart because we are so thankful for all of our veterans,” Event Chair Susan Dennis says. “And what better way to show that then having those flags fly 24/7 and beautifying the area, too?”

The project will cost about $35,000.

The event is Friday, April 27 from 6 to 10 p.m.

The raffle occurs at 9:30 p.m.
