MSP Cracking Down on Impaired Driving for St. Patrick’s Day

Michigan State Police will be actively looking out for impaired drivers on St. Patrick’s Day.

Troopers say they will be partaking in an international safety effort known as Operation C.A.R.E. all day Saturday.

C.A.R.E. stands for “Crash Awareness and Reduction Efforts.”

State police director Kriste Kibbey Etue says that the department encourages safe driving and won’t tolerate impaired drivers.
