Grand Traverse Co. CPS Supervisor Pleads No Contest to OWI
The Grand Traverse County Child Protective Services supervisor who was arrested for drunk driving and resisting police is taking a plea deal.
Paula Lipinski pleaded no contest to operating while intoxicated and resisting arrest.
She was arrested outside Kilkenny’s Irish Pub in Traverse City last Saturday.
Court documents show she also tried to run away from police and was kicking the officer who arrested her.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services confirms Lipinski has worked as a CPS supervisor for the past 16 years.
A no contest plea means she accepts the punishment but does not admit to the crime.
Lipinksi will be sentenced next month.
