Man Deported From Canada for Having Child Porn Facing Charges in Upper Peninsula

A man Homeland Security says was deported from Canada for having child porn is now facing charges for the same thing in the U.P.

Jason Bishop was arrested Thursday in Chippewa County by U.S. Homeland Security.

He was arraigned Friday on 10 counts of possessing child porn and 10 counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

He’s now at the Chippewa County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Bishop will appear back in court in early March for a probable cause hearing.
