Nobody likes being stuck in traffic, but it also comes at a cost.

According to WalletHub, congestion costs the average driver $1,400 a year and some states are worse than others.

Texas came in at number one, followed by Kansas, and then Nebraska coming in at number three.

The worst state to drive in, falling into 50th place, was Hawaii.
