Osceola Twp. Planning to Appeal Decision Allowing Nestle to Build Booster Station
Osceola Township plans to appeal a decision that allows Nestle to build a booster station.
Right now the township is having its attorneys put together documents to send to the court of appeals.
From there, it could take six to eight months before a decision on if a hearing will even happen is made.
Last month, a judge said Nestle could build a booster station that would draw up to 400 gallons of water per minute from a well in the township.
The judge’s decision comes after the township planning commission rejected the request.
Nestle is still waiting for approval from the DEQ to increase pumping from 250 gallons per minute to 400 gallons per minute.
